Messianic Jews

Messianic Jews

Messianic Jews is a term we hear often today. Christians are desperate to enter into the perfect will of God and flow with His plan in these end times. Many ask, “What is God going to do, I want to be there! I want to be a part of it!”

It is quite natural for all eyes to be turned towards Israel to find the will of God because God does have a plan for the Jews in these last days. His word towards them must be fulfilled. Aand that’s why there are many messianic jewish ministries strouting up everywhere.

There is a Prophetic Path for Israel that is amazing to see as it unfolds before our eyes. As we see God’s plan unfold for Israel in these last days, we see thousands of Christians migrating into this Prophetic Path, trying to find Jesus in Hebrew traditions. They are trying to claim spiritual roots in Israel to establish authority for Christianity, thinking they also possess the true knowledge of God by that association.

In a sense they are looking for the reality of God, trying to construct a messianic jewish faith from the fabric of Moses and Jesus. When one is not in covenant with God the tendency is to look for reality in brick and stone and the precept. When one IS is covenant with God then God provides the reality through the reccord of Christ only. When the Spirit of God rested upon Jesus upon His baptism, God was establishing a pattern for us, saying that He will only empower faith that refects the record of Jesus Christ, not the record of Moses.

If you want to live by the power of the resurrected Christ then you must put on Christ by using ONLY the spiritual tools of His covenant. You cannot expect the empowerment of faith to take place if you are still embracing the things of Moses. The things of Moses challenge the mind with tradition, but does not build through the priesthood. This is what Jesus called “the doctrine of Nicolaitans”.  For the purpose of our joining our faith to God, it is important to follow the Prophetic Plan of His covenant. The covenant is what Jesus shed His blood to provide for our contact, communion, and walk with God. The covenant defines our labor at the altar of Christ, how we are to use the spiritual tools that God desires us to use to reciprocate to Him. Here is where Jesus mediates the terms of the covenant and we experience the purged conscience.

It is by this divine reciprocation that we know Him and He knows us. It is in covenant with God that the Spirit of God enters into our faith to make it living. It is in covenant that Jesus mediates the terms of His covenant and stands as your righteousness.

The Prophetic Path of the covenant will lead you back into the bosom of the Father where your eternal residence is. This is what Jesus promised through His blood.

The problem is that most do not know the difference between the FIRST covenant and the SECOND covenant.

It does not matter if we call our Messiah Yeshua or Jesus as He is known by both names. There are several things though that come up when the word “Yeshua” is used that I would like to touch on.

 1)  The word “Yeshua” is commonly used to make a distinction where no distinction lies. There is no difference between Jew or Gentile and His name should not be used to bring attention to a distinction that does not exist as Paul preached, “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him” Rom.10:12.

 2) The word “Yeshua” is commonly used in the sense of returning the value of Jesus to its original roots (Jewish) to place an unspoken value on that name, which again brings distinction between Jew and Gentile when God has already broken down the wall between them.

Abraham was known for His “faith” and therefore we are all children of faith by Jesus Christ and share the same heritage of faith and reward of faith. The focus on the oral language “Yeshua” currently translates into an undue focus upon the Jewish nation as a people and that race instead of the correct focus on our father Abraham and his faith.

The Jewish apostles were responsible for removing the word “Jew” from the race and shifting focus on “faith.” The true Jew is one inward as Paul preached, “But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God” (Rom.2:29).

The Jewish people of the first century church wanted to preserve their race, while God brought attention to the fact that it is not in the “race,” but that His choosing out a people to Himself was for the purpose of faith.

 3) The word “Yeshua” is often used in connection to a Christian group that still incorporates the commandments, feast days, ordinances, and laws of Moses. Therefore there is a current association between the word “Yeshua” and those traditions and Christians are currently being encouraged to mix  Moses’ traditions with the traditions of Jesus Christ.

The name by which God revealed Himself to Abraham is “God Almighty”.

The name by which God revealed Himself to Moses is “Jehovah”.

The  name by which God reveals Himself to us today is “Jesus Christ.”

 Exodus 6:3-4

3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.

4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

The name is for our association with God’s covenant. The name of Jesus Christ is the name and authority of the Second Covenant. His name is above every name for God has put all covenants in Himself. He came to represent Himself.

Many well meaning Christians do not understand the covenant of Jesus Christ, nor His spiritual tools, nor His priesthood and attempt to serve God with carnal things. Their faith being joined to the things of Moses reflects Christ in part (as God intended through that covenant). They are pursuing the holiness of the 10 commandments rather than pursuing the holiness of Jesus Christ. The holiness of the 10 commandments flatters the intellect, the holiness of Jesus Christ births the virtues of Christ in the soul.

Jesus came and died for the sins of the world. He came in His fullness (as God intended for this covenant) and that which is in part (Moses) entered into Jesus. If we worship Jesus through the things of Moses we are in essence saying that He did not come to shed His blood for the new testament and that His blood, sprinkled upon the tools of His new covenant is insufficient for faith.

When faith is errantly joined to the things of Moses in the name of Christ the Spirit of God will not confirm Christ in that union. What happens is that faith is not made living by the Spirit and this is reflected in how the will labors hard with carnal things to experience eternal things. The conscience remains defiled and this is reflected in the journey towards all things believers would possess if they worshipped Jesus in His fullness.

God’s Spiritual Power

Learn about God's Spiritual Power

Learn about God's Spiritual Power

Have you ever read one of those books that ask, “Do you need a miracle today?” No one would respond to that question by saying, “No I don’t need a miracle today!” Every day we are in need of God’s divine intervention in our lives. When do we not need a miracle from God? He created us to need Him.

But sadly, Christians today do not live in the spiritual power that God meant for each to have. They live in expectation of power, but do not live IN the power.

There is a deeper problem here that we must address. Not only do Christians not live in the supernatural power of God, but when it comes to teaching about God’s power it is always directed for the flesh: the increase of money, health, and good fortune.

The False Religious System has kept believers hooked on promises: “We’ll have a better year this year” or “God wants you to walk in that place of blessing, all you have to do is….” and the minister names some kind of thing you can do to experience God’s power.

Sometimes we hear that, “fasting brings one into a deeper, more intimate and powerful relationship with God,” and believers commit themselves to this work (fasting).

Sometimes we hear it preached that, “Praise will bring down the power of God,” and believers commit themselves to this work (music ministry).

Sometimes we hear ministers say that, “Intercessory prayer will help you tap into God’s power,” and believers commit themselves to this work (prayer).

Faith is based on the promise that God will do all these things for you, but they fail to give you the covenant and priesthood so your faith is not tethered to God and you cannot tap into His power. God is not initiating anything and this is why you have been frustrated with the preaching of the false gospel.

Satan is preaching to you on the level of the flesh (the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) while God wants to bring you up to the level of the priesthood where He would engage with you supernaturally every day.

The church is very good at chastising itself. It is common to hear messages against the materialistic church, how we ought not to drive faith for the increase of the flesh. Many doleful pleas are made to Christians all year long to come to the realization that God is a holy God and things must change.

But at the end of the year things have not changed. It was easy to preach transition, but transition did not take place. At the end of 2009 we heard ministers say that God sustained the church for the past 10 years and He will sustain the church for the next 10 years. So basically, even though they have not advanced in knowledge and do not experience the power of God and cannot operate in the gifts, and are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, they do not mind continuing in that experience.

God called that condition the result of Satan’s Seat in the church not the result of His sanctification (Rev.2:13). God’s longsuffering with their defiled condition is used as a justification to continue in their defilement. And this is why there is no joy or peace in their heart.

God is calling the church back to Him, back to His spiritual government, back to true Apostolic Governance, and back to the living priesthood of Jesus Christ. When you make that transition then you will be able to walk in God’s spiritual power every day life.

People Desire to Live in the Miraculous!
People are amazed when they read in the Bible the miraculous power of God, as Apostle Paul wrote:

“And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. . .” (Heb.11:31-35).

These were men and women of the covenant. They were not lascivious believers trying to hook up to God for the blessings. They were men and women of faith and their testimony was that they kept the seal of their faith without wavering. And God, willing to show His power, bridged the signature of Sarah and gave her a child of promise; He bridged the signature of David and took a shepherd boy and made him a king; He took Samson and made him a judge that the vow of his strength would overturn his enemies.

These men and women of faith pleased God. It is faith in covenant that pleases Him. God says that if we are to please Him we are to “take hold of His covenant” (Is.56:4). If you do not experience the power of God in your life it is because you have not taken hold of the Second Covenant of Jesus Christ.

God knows those who take hold of His Second Covenant and those who are just seeking Him for a blessing. Jesus talked about this mindset (seeking God for the blessing) and called it the mindset of the Gentiles: What shall we eat? What shall we drink? Wherewithal shall we be clothed? Jesus said, “For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Mt. 6:31-33).

The mindset of seeking God for material blessings is the mind of those who are not in covenant with God (the Gentile). Many who say they believe in Jesus Christ have this Gentile mentality and not the mindset of the righteous. When the Gentiles talk about the miraculous power of God and his spiritual blessings they talk about money, the physical healing of the body, or a miraculous change of events to circumstances that turned to their favor.

The righteous are in covenant with God and when they speak about God’s spiritual power they talk about the things the early church experienced and the apostles wrote about. They talk about angelic encounters, the operation of the gifts of the Spirit, dreams, visions. (Joel 2:28-30; Acts 2:17-18).

God specifically made known to the church that He designed the gospel of Jesus Christ to bring believers into a supernatural walk with Him.

Jesus promised that He would manifest Himself to those in covenant with Him (Jn.14:21). He taught that His disciples would experience a peace that the world would not experience, a comfort that the world does not know, and a joy that the world cannot tap into.

Did you know that you cannot tell the difference between the peace of the world and the peace of God if you are still in the world or in Baal’s church worshipping the false Jesus that Satan designed for the church?

If you are still in the False Religious System and have not “come of out her” as God commanded, then Satan’s Jesus is ruling your faith. Satan designed a Jesus that looks like the Son of God, but is not the Son of God.

It is Satan’s Jesus that promises prosperity of the flesh and by many fables turn sincere people from the truth.

What is a Fable?

A fable is something that Apostle Paul warned the church to learn to avoid. Titus 1:14, “Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.” And, “They shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” 2 Tim.4:4.

A Jewish fable is a commandment of man based upon Jewish law that found its way into the Second Covenant. Christians try to find their roots in Moses rather than Jesus Christ.

Tithing is a Jewish fable. Many Christians are taught to observe this Jewish law in the hopes of receiving a miraculous return from God. When God, in His compassion, brings people out of their trouble and provides for them, they use this testimony to preach Christ.

People abandon the covenant of Jesus Christ and begin to tithe in hopes that they too will find good fortune. This is a Jewish fable. When ministers of unrighteousness feed the church fables then believers try to approach God on the basis of this confidence (God will do this for me) rather than faith (to worship God with the tools of Christ).

The heart is easily turned from faith to fables. The church has dined on fables for the past 100 years. Everyone is looking for the keys to unlock God’s blessings, asking, “How can I gain favor with God?”

Are you aware that Satan works with the imagination knowing that the imagination works with one’s aspiration? This is like setting a match to wood that has been soaked with gasoline. You needed fan the flames, the gasoline works to spread the flame quickly. So is the aspiration to the imagination. The imagination, soaked with aspiration needs only Satan’s inspiration (the match) and the fire of their passion (not faith) spreads like wild fire.

Truth is not like the imagination and grace is not like the aspiration. God uses truth to direct your faith and grace to empower it. This is why Jesus gave you the tools of the covenant for your priesthood. Your faith is empowered by grace.

If you want to live in God’s spiritual power then you must first leave Baal’s house and come into covenant with God. Take hold of His Second Covenant and learn how to serve Him properly with the new spiritual tools that Jesus shed His blood to provide for faith to be powerful. You cannot serve God in the False Religious System.

When you have embraced the fact that God wants you to come out of Baal’s house and into the house of Jesus Christ then embrace the form of government Jesus has provided for your faith to represent Him perfectly. Second 8th Week Apostles and Elders are called of God to stand in the gap and help believers through this much anticipated transition.

Spiritual Power

1 Corinthians 2:5, “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

Does your faith carry the divine seal of God’s power? If not, then your faith stands in the wisdom of man; and that is the problem. The wisdom of man drives faith in the direction of the flesh and the Spirit of God will not rest upon the flesh to confirm and sanctify it as a token of faith.

The word “power” means, that which the Spirit rests upon for confirmation and sanctification. We can see this played out in the Bible: When Jesus was baptized the Spirit of God, as a dove, rested upon Him and God’s voice from heaven was heard to say, “This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.”
At this point the Spirit of God took ownership of Jesus and placed His divine seal of approval upon Him.

We can see how God “initiated” Jesus’ ministry at this point. He took responsibility for it and as we see Jesus’ ministry unfold we observe how God was overseeing the operation of it. As Jesus said, “I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things,” (Jn.8:28). We see then that what God initiates He sustains. By this also we see the power of God.

We can see then that the power of God is for your experience. No power of this world can initiate what God can initiate. Not only does God initiate your faith by His power, but He sustains your faith by that same power. Every dream, every vision, every utterance of prophecy – you are standing in the power of God.

Spiritual Power is about God restoring to us our confidence by His gifts. He is restoring the integrity of faith, the place of holiness, the place of confidence, the place of peace.

If you are not daily experiencing the supernatural power of God upon your faith it is because your faith has fallen among the weeds of man’s wisdom where the light of God truth does not shine and the grace of God is not present to water it and the Spirit of God is not present to sanctify it, and therefore you have no experience with God.

Are you established in the faith? When Christians ask me why they are not experiencing the power of God as they should I always point to the first hurdle they need to overcome, and that is an independent faith. The Spirit of God does not work with man’s independence, the Spirit of God will not sanctify that earthly spirit that works separate from God’s government.

The spirit of independence is the spirit of Antichrist, it is the power of this world that tethers man to tradition. Your faith will either be rooted in the record of Christ or in the tradition of man.

Your faith is rooted in Christ if it is first tethered to God’s sanctified government, as Paul wrote, “Now to Him that is of POWER to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began” (Rom. 16:25).

Do you see what Paul is saying here? He is identifying the need of the church for his apostolic calling and making a connection between his living stewardship and the power of God that establishes you in the faith, keeping you grounded in Christ.

Your faith is empowered by the Spirit (initiated and sustained by God’s supernatural power) by you first understanding the mystery of Christ. It is then that you know how to function in your priesthood; it is then that you know how to identify the grace of God and your fellowship with God is based upon this divine exchange whereby He sees the face of Christ in you; it is then that you know how spiritual warfare ties into your priesthood and how to walk in a purged conscience.

This is the tradition of Jesus Christ. How do you know if the tradition of man is your faith or the tradition of Jesus Christ is your faith? It is as easy to spot the tradition of man upon faith as it is stripes upon a zebra. Just listen to what is said. When Jesus is brought to the level of the conflict of the flesh then the tradition of man is present to ruin faith.

Where is the conflict? The conflict is in the conscience. As long as the conscience is defiled all you see is your prejudice, what you were taught. All you see if your traditions, you do not see the face of Christ.

When the tradition of man has spoiled faith you will hear ministers preach from the defiled conscience, addressing the conflict of man and how to live better lives for Jesus. The law of Moses and the precept of scripture are used to afflict and smite the conscience, trying to resolve the inner conflict that is felt, but the very thing they are dinning on (the defiled conscience, the law of Moses, and the resolve of the flesh to do better) is obscuring faith.

What is happening here is that you are fitting the tradition of man into the precept instead of putting on the covenant. The Holy Spirit will not initiate nor sustain faith on this platform because this is the record of the flesh not the record of Jesus Christ.

When faith is made to labor with the defiled conscience, trying to set order to our experience by the precept, faith is vain, it is brought to the level of the flesh and God will not empower that faith for He does not see the likeness of His Son in that.

The same people who hunger for spiritual power are the same people who hunger for the divine power to change them. They are not experiencing the manifold graces of God Jesus promised and they do not experience God’s healing for the inner man.

It was Apostle Peter who taught in his epistle about the need for the divine power for the divine change. We are going to read those verses and I want you to see how the apostle speaks of the power of God in connection to the common, every day experience each believer is to have, that is, of Christ being formed in them.

2 Peter 1:3-4, “According as his DIVINE POWER hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

We are children of God. We are the offspring of the Divine One. God says that the divine power is given to the church for the divine change to take place, that we may daily experience Him transforming us into His divine nature. This is God’s divine healing power.

We see the same power of creation in our growth that we do in the book of Genesis: “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water” Gen1:2. God moved upon the waters of this dimension and created the heavens and the earth, the oceans, and the waters brought forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven (Gen.1:20).

God then made man in His own likeness and breathed into him the breath of life, that man might carry the likeness of God. We know that because of the fall of man that he no longer carried the likeness of God in perfection, but carried the likeness of God for his own gain. When Jesus died for the sins of the world He breathed into man again by the baptism of the Holy Spirit to return man to the perfection of His likeness.

When Jesus breathed upon His disciples (Jn.20:22), it was a symbolic gesture of the coming baptism of the Holy Spirit which they would receive after His ascension to heaven. When He breathed upon them He was providing Himself for their faith to be made perfect and that their faith would be made living by Himself alone.

Jesus provided Himself for our experience of Him. The same Spirit that moved upon the waters of this dimension now moves upon the waters of our soul. God placed a portion of His likeness in all creation and all creation is tethered to Him.

Satan’s Jesus

Satan’s Jesus is the false Jesus—the look alike Jesus. Satan’s Jesus speaks many things that are true about the birth and death of Jesus, but does not direct faith into the things that will join it to God’s spiritual power.

The Bible talks about the justification of grace as God purges the conscience of sin, but when faith is defined by Satan’s Jesus then Christians talk about justification, but there is no divine power associated with this miracle of salvation. It is not an ongoing experience. Believers lack the priesthood where this becomes a daily, supernatural experience for them.

The same problem exists for them in other areas where God assigned a divine power for their experience: the circumcise the heart, the regeneration of the soul, the renewing of the mind, the strengthening of the will, the humbling of the heart, the sanctification of grace, true holiness, accountability to truth, the fear of God, the spiritual mind, spiritual warfare, etc. These terms all have corresponding real life experiences that stands as a tremendous testimony to the power of God.

Do you need a miracle today? That question should mean, “Do you need God’s spiritual power to overcome yourself, the world, and the devil? Do you need God’s supernatural ability to stand in the place of holiness? Do you need the divine power for the divine change?” Yes you do!

As the church enters into this time of reformation by accepting Apostolic Stewardship, believers will transition into a new mindset about the power of God.

As their faith is brought into alignment with the covenant of Jesus Christ and they accept the responsibility of their priesthood then believers will walk in the same signs and wonders we see in the Bible. They will accept the divine power for the divine nature.

What I am going to do now is list the different kinds of spiritual power we read about in the Bible and then give the reader an opportunity to see the same spiritual power in the testimonies of Christians today who have made the transition to the Second Covenant and operate now under God’s sanctified steward.

Many people ask me if they need to acknowledge my stewardship in order to experience the divine power of God for the divine change. I have seen ministers take the knowledge and try to build an altar with it in hopes that God will sanctify it. But what they don’t understand is that the Spirit of God will not empower a faith that is built with the aspiration of man.

Take Hold of My Covenant

When spiritual government is absent from the Body then the language of truth is driven by the imagination. When God says, “Take hold of My covenant,” then the imagination plays with what it means to “take hold of” the covenant and Christians commit themselves to all kinds of things. Government is not present to direct them in the knowledge and faith becomes lawless.

God has not called the church to take the knowledge of Christ and go and build an independent shrine for themselves. God called the church to come into one house and under one stewardship to function in one priesthood.

Isaiah 8:18, “Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders.”

God is challenging the church today with the sign and wonder of sanctified stewardship. When they accept this token (Apostolic Governance of the Second 8th Week) then God will provide the sign with the token, the Spirit of God will be present to empower their faith.

For the Lord says: “Take hold of My covenant. My salvation is come and I will reward you as you embrace these things.” This is a word God gave me as I preached this message to a class.

Spiritual Power Seen in the Bible
1. An angel appeared to Moses in the bush (Ex.3:2).
2. An angel appeared to Samson’s mother and father (Judg.13)
3. King David saw the angel that smote God’s people (1 Sam.24:17).
4. An angel appeared to Elijah (1 Kg.19:5).
5. Angels are in the Psalms (Ps.34:7).
6. An angel communed with the Prophet Zechariah (Zech.1:14).
7. An angel stood on the side of God’s prophet when Satan came to visit (Zech.3:1)
8. An angel brought sanctified revelation (Zech.6:5).
9. Angels announced the birth of Jesus Christ (Lk.2:10-13).
10. An angel came to Jesus to strengthen Him (Lk.22:43).
11. An angel appeared to Cornelius (Acts 10:1).
12. An angel appeared to Peter (Acts 12:7).
13. Angels are assigned to the church (Rev.1,8,12,18).
14. The Apostles and disciples of Jesus were filled with the Holy Spirit and
spoke in unknown tongues (Acts 2:4).
15. The Holy Ghost came upon them and they prophesied (Acts 19:6).
16. An earthquake shook the prison, freeing Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25).
17. All the gifts of the Spirit flowed freely in the church (1 Cor.12-14).
• Christians prophesied daily,
• Spoke in tongues daily,
• received words of knowledge and wisdom,
• operated in the gift of discerning of spirits,
• spoke in tongues,
• received supernatural grace, peace, and comfort of the Holy Ghost,
• walked in the edification that each member supplied,
18. People who were at one time bound by the law of Moses began to daily experience the new law of grace and truth through Jesus Christ and rejoiced in the manifestation of fruit that they brought forth to God (Jn.1:16-17; Rom.7:4).
19. Believers hungered for God and experienced the grace of Apostolic Stewardship and rejoiced that they were no longer servants of sin, but servants of God, manifesting the fruits of holiness (Rom.1:5).
20. People wanted to know how to walk in spiritual power and Apostolic Stewardship was present to impart spiritual gifts (Rom.1:11).
21. People who came into the faith from different cultures, perspectives, religions, and truths, were all bound together in one mutual faith (Rom.1:12).
22. Believers were troubled, but lived in the manifestation of the righteousness of God that was revealed from faith to faith (Rom.1:17).
23. Believers were beset by daily trials, but lived by the power of the Spirit to circumcise the heart and therefore lived for the praise of God rather than the praise of man (Rom.2:29).
24. Believers desire to please God was met, not because they lived by the knowledge of the law, but by the righteousness of Jesus Christ and therefore they daily experienced the justification of grace as God purged their conscience of sin (Rom.3:20-24; Heb.9:14).
25. Believers suffered the same attacks of Satan we do today, yet received supernatural abundance of grace and therefore peace ruled the heart (Rom.5:17; Col.3:15).
26. Christians were desirous to live as Jesus wanted them to and learned how to walked in newness of life by the glory of the Father. Each day they experienced the power of God as they gave themselves to Him as instruments of righteousness (Rom.6:4-13).
27. Christians faced the same challenges we do today, but knew how to receive the manifold grace of God and having received this gift knew how to steward the same to one another (1 Pet.4:10).
28. Believers stumbled when they were babes in Christ, but by proper stewardship they learned how to walk after the power of the Spirit, they learned the secret of a spiritual mind and the Spirit quickened their hope in God (Rom.8:1,2,6,11).
29. Satan came to plunder the souls of believers every day, but by God’s spiritual power they broke his bonds, and rather than live in condemnation they lived in the glorious liberty of the children of God (Rom.8:1,21).
30. People who at one time thought it would be impossible to walk perfectly before God learned the secrets of God’s rewards and how, with each visit of His power, God is providing substance for faith that we can reciprocate His likeness.

Believers LIVED in the supernatural power of God, which means, “God with me and in me, changing me by His supernatural divine power to become like Him.”

Angelic Encounters

What stands out in the Bible is the fact that God’s spiritual power included angelic encounters.
Exodus 23:20, “Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep. . .”
How many times have you thought, “Wow! I would love to have an angel visit me!” But almost immediately another thought comes, “But if an angel came to me, how would I know if it was a sanctified messenger and not a messenger of Satan? How would I know I am not being led into error?”

If you are on God’s Prophetic Path of the covenant and can see the flow of the Spirit through God’s Weeks and the foundation of truth is establish in your heart then you can always discern with confidence which kingdom is manifesting. It is not difficult.

Just as the Prophetic Path helps us to discern who is in Christ and who is not in Christ so also the same Prophetic Path helps us to discern which manifestations are of God and which ones are not of God.

When one is able to see the connection God has made between the angels and the power of His grace and the role of angels to minister to us in regard to our growth in Christ, then one has criteria from which to discern.

Apostle Eric vonAnderseck’s teaching and ministry on angels is ground breaking. The Lord has used him to peel back the mystery about angels and remove the fear of their manifestations. As long as Satan can keep the church in fear and ignorance he has won the battle.

There are many books out there about angelic encounters, but they are not connected to the work of the Second Covenant. Some use angelic encounters to try to add a bit of spice to their belief system. But if you look carefully they aren’t experiencing the ministry of angels, they’re just talking about sporadic angelic encounters witnessed here and there by whoever. There is no sound teaching with these encounters, no connection to grace, no testimony of Christ.

Other ministers come right out and warn Christians about angelic encounters and warn against “worship of angels”, while they themselves embrace many strange and perverted doctrines.

Don’t allow Satan to sit on your faith. Raise up and claim the covenant of Jesus Christ and learn how angels minister to us today:
Use this link  to view the testimonies of angelic encounters

In each testimony God bears witness by the seal of His grace that these are true angelic encounters. Each experience carries the integrity of faith because it reflects the face of Jesus Christ in His covenant, knowledge, priesthood, tools, government, and redemptive work.

Christians who chuck the ministry of angels into the dust bin are merely bringing shame upon their own heads, denying Christ the expression of His ministry.

Earth Renewal

Upon awakening this morning the Lord ministered to me this word:

“Earth Renewal”

When one hears the words “earth renewal” these days it is associated with global warming and man’s efforts to change their habits of polluting the earth with industrial waste. There is a global effort  to renew the earth to its proper balance so that the earth will not continue on what they perceive to be a course of self destruction.

This morning Apostle Eric and I were reading from Isaiah chapter 57 and verses 15 and 16 stood out to me in regard to the word of the Lord:

15. For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16.  For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

We, who are in covenant, understand that when God speaks of the “earth” He is not speaking of the soil, but the hearts of men. And when the Lord speaks about “pollution” he is not speaking about the condition of the planet due to man’s misuse of technology, but He is speaking of the soul of man.

The soul of man has been exposed to the pollution of Satan’s knowledge for 6 thousand years, ever since our first father, Adam, heeded Satan’s counsel. And the whole world was overspread with a mind set and philosophy that was not tethered to God.

While man lifts up on high many pseudo redeemers who  come forward with plans for earth renewal, God reminds  man again, “Remember your Creator, I am the exalted One, I am the holy One, I am He that inhabits eternity . All creation points to my work and you are the work of My hands.

God only has the power to renew man in the true knowledge of His heritage, to awaken man  out of his slumber. This is what he has called the Second 8th Week Apostles and Elders to do. But just as the carnal minded man has his own physical renewal plans for the earth, he also has his own spiritual renewal plans.

Just this past week we read of such a plan here in the Mossel Bay newspaper. Area church leaders have made a pact to come to the stadium on a set day with their flashlights (torches) and spell out the name “Jesus”. They hope to draw a big crowd of people to join them and that this will send a significant message of unity to the world. But again, we can see man’s vain attempt to take God’s place, to do something for God, but not with God.

God already has a plan for renewal  that will come through the true light of His grace and not the false light of a torch.  As we read in Isaiah, God will revive the spirit of the humble and revive the heart of the contrite ones. It is time for all church leaders to set aside their traditions and come to Second 8th Week Ministries to receive instruction that will renew them to the Second Covenant faith of our Lord.

God has  assigned a time of mercy and clemency for the nations and man cannot initiate this move on His own. As the Lord spoke to me just last week saying, “I will sprinkle My blood upon the nations. Prepare ye the way.” God is speaking directly to Second 8th Week Apostles and Elders to prepare Hi way because those who are of contrite hearts, those who prepare their hearts for the Lord will need education. When they come into covenant with God they will need to know how He desires to be worshipped.

God has assigned the Second 8th Week as the time of renewal for the earth. Renewal must be by His Spirit. This is a door that no man may shut.  Those who are of a humble spirit will lay down their own plans of renewal and join God in His plan.

God’s  sign was seen in the sky right here in beautiful Mosssel Bay in confirmation of His call to true unity of the Spirit.  An enormous heavenly trumpet appeared and was photographed. Many confirmations of the Holy Spirit have been reported and there is an excitement growing.  This is the preparation of the Second 8th week  as the Church  separates herself from the world for her consecration of service to the kingdom of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. God  is saying “Come out from among them and be ye separate that you be not partaker of the sins of the world and God’s wrath to come, and embrace My kingdom to build the House of God.” Unity must be by the true light and not a false light.

All We Need Is Jesus

I recently read an article by Francis Frangipane called “All We Need Is Jesus” in which he repeated the same message he has been publishing for the past 20 years: “What’s Wrong With the Church” and “Who is Qualified to Fix It?”

I want to break down his complaints against the church one point at a time and then talk about whether or not God placed him in a position to bring remedy:

  1.     Christians are not being discipled

Frangipane begins by saying, “We have instructed the church in nearly everything but becoming disciples of Jesus Christ.” Now that is very telling. He is saying that with all the Bible schools, mega churches, seminar speakers, Christian magazine writers preaching and teaching in the name of Jesus that the volumes of instruction has not resulted in Christians becoming empowered to follow Jesus.

That means that everyone you have listened to is preaching a powerless gospel and that every Christian book you have read from Billy Graham to Joyce Myer should be thrown in the trash.  This is the sad condition of the church.

God has been speaking through Apostle Eric vonAnderseck for the last 30 years and through Second 8th Week Ministry Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and teachers for the past 10 years that He has not authorized these ministers of unrighteousness to preach the gospel and that their message is not producing Christ in the inner man.

There are many ways in which God is pointing out to the church her lack. The purpose of these revelations is to get believers to begin to seek God and prepare themselves to accept the remedy of the Lord. But what often happens, and what we see taking place in this case again, is that Frangipane places himself in the position of offering remedy to the church.  He writes and speaks a lot about how the tradition of man that is blocking God’s power, but does not see himself in that role of standing in the way of grace on account of him hanging onto his own traditions.

How do I know this to be true? One who is called, separated, and prepared of God to bring remedy to the church can speak directly to the problem and not just speak about the issue. His articles are filled with ambiguous observations that are obvious to all and he never gets to the heart of the problem.  For example Frangipane wrote:

 >><<we must be vigilant to submit ourselves passionately and solely to the Holy Spirit and the words of Jesus, incessantly reaching for the holy standards of the kingdom of God. Any focus or goal other than Christ Himself in fullness will become a source of deception in the days ahead.>><<

The words “vigilant”, “submit”, “reaching”, and “focus” are action words that need to be tied to the specific things that God has sanctified for our activity of faith to be recognized by Him. Many ministers are in the habit of peppering their preaching with action words that are not tied to the covenant of Jesus Christ so again Christians are not activated. What are the spiritual tools they are to be vigilant with, what is the knowledge the Holy Spirit bears witness to that we may submit to it and thus experience the fullness of Christ?

What are the tools God gave us to measure our faith to Jesus Christ so that we may reach for and obtain His holiness? What is the priesthood of Jesus Christ so that our focus on Him would take the form of reciprocation of grace and truth and not the reciprocation of the moral code?

Frangipane’s understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ is not of the Spirit, he lacks the ability to draw upon his own experience of transformation and therefore he is not fit to redirect the church into the fullness of Christ.

As I said, many ministers today are talking about what is wrong with the church and the subject of proper discipleship comes up often. But if you have never seen how the church is to properly function and have never understood how Christian growth takes place and if you do not experience these things you cannot make the connection between the doctrine of Christ and your function with His tools and the outflow of these things.

As a result of their own lack of being properly discipled and lack of experience of the fullness of Christ they really cannot go very deeply into the subject. They talk about the problem, but cannot bring the solution.  And this really is a shame isn’t it? They should not stand in the place of God’s anointed when they do not have His message of reconciliation to bring to the people.

Let’s quickly go over a few important points about proper discipleship that will assist you in your discernment:

1.  Believers can say that Jesus is the plan of God for our salvation, but if they are not properly discipled in the faith (the foundation of truth needs to be properly laid in the heart by living apostles) they cannot make diligent use the tokens of Christ and are not preserved in God’s care.

  • As a result of not being brought into God’s care the will is bruised and the soul is wounded and believers are confused about God’s involvement in their lives.
  • As a result of not being brought into God’s care they are food for the wolf (as we see happening in the church today) and Satan has the mastery over them.

2. Believes can say they want to be like Jesus, but if they are not properly discipled in the faith (taught how to function in their priesthood) the soul is not beautified with grace.

  • As a result of the soul not being beautified with grace the soul remains empty of Christ’s virtue. The very thing believers are asking God for (to be like Jesus) they are denied because they are not properly taught how to function in their priesthood.

3.  Believers say that they love God, but if they are not properly discipled in the faith (given the tools of Christ for their love to be expressed) they remain carnal minded and try to love God with the tokens of the flesh, which God cannot receive because it is not a reflection of His Son.

  • As a result of remaining carnal minded, their ignorance remains and sin continues to dominate the heart and soul, wearing the mind with many carnal works the Spirit will not empower.

4.  Believers say that they accept that Jesus is the Head of the Body, but if they are not properly discipled into the faith (taught the true function of spiritual government) then they cannot follow the due process of their consecration.

  •  As a result of not knowing how spiritual government works and not being able to follow the due process of consecration, believers are not separated from the world unto God, truth is not prepared in the heart, and when God calls the conscience forth to produce the fruits of Christ they stand empty and ashamed before God, having only the vain virtues of the flesh, which God abhors.

5.  Believers say that they want conformity to Christ to be the highest passion of the heart, but if they are not properly discipled into the faith of Jesus Christ (taught how and to recognize the operation of grace in each of the tools of Christ) then conformity is not to God but  to a seducing spirit.

  • As a result of believers not being able to recognize the simple function of the grace of God Satan relabels aspiration as grace and thus ignites the passion of man with a false grace. Believers who are not properly discipled do not understand how Christ sustains us through the regeneration process back to the divine nature of God as they remain tethered to the tokens of God’s covenant.

Frangipane states >><<we must be vigilant to submit ourselves passionately and solely to the Holy Spirit and the words of Jesus, incessantly reaching for the holy standards of the kingdom of God. >><<

The problem here is that Frangipane is still “reaching” for God’s standard of righteousness and holiness, which means that he is not living it. One does not reach for what one is already in possession of. God did not give us goals to achieve. That is Americanized Christianity. God gave us Jesus Christ for our faith to be expressed perfectly. Jesus Christ is the one and only standard of God.

Frangipane’s confusion is a result of him not submitting to the commandment of God several years ago to accept spiritual government and come into the fullness of Christ. As a result he has not been instructed (discipled) and does not know that Jesus Christ is the perfect measure of our faith. God declares righteous those who conform to this design for they have met His expectations perfectly.

When Christians are not properly discipled into the faith they are not living the reality of their faith and try to express their faith with sincere sounding slogans as we read from Frangipane. In the past believers were bewitched with this type of preaching, but now God is cutting through the fog and believers are awakening to the sound of the trumpet of God’s voice calling them out of the madness and into the light of His grace.

2.  Spiritual government is lacking. It is assumed that God can use any church structure.

Frangipane then speaks about spiritual government. He wrote >><<The pattern for leadership in the years ahead is simple: Leaders must be individuals whose burning passion is conformity to Jesus Christ. . . . God can use practically any church structure if the people in that congregation are genuinely seeking Him.>><<

This viewpoint is not in rhythm with the Spirit but surprisingly, Satan has the majority of Christians believing this lie. Thank God the Spirit is restoring the church to true spiritual government where Jesus is the Head. Do you realize that what you see in the church today: the lack of discipleship, believers lost in sin, confused, wandering in the desert, looking for the move of the Spirit, in bondage to Satan, lacking the power of commitment, is a result of this mindset Frangipane endorses.

He does not believe that Apostolic Governance is necessary, but still believes that Christians can find truth on their own and serve God their own way. This philosophy is what has ruled the church for the past 2,000 years since the early apostles passed and resulted in the church losing everything God placed in Christ for their faith.

Every bad condition that exists in the church that Christians want to change can be traced to open stewardship. Open stewardship is the philosophy Satan spawned in the church to remove the headship of Christ. Satan convinces ministers that they can be just like the early church, just as strong, just as vibrant, just as zealous, all they need to do is just really be sincere about it.

Satan does not want the church to get back to true Apostolic Governance and keeps the church running in circles through open stewardship. Whosoever wills is running the church not Jesus Christ. God cannot use any church structure, He uses Jesus Christ as the pattern of faith. You cannot say that you want to get back to the true faith and remain ignorant of the pattern and design of Christ in the structure of His truth and in the function of His priesthood. The church is in the state of apostasy. That means that

  • believers are using the knowledge of God for themselves rather than to build the kingdom of God. That can only change through each believer preparing their hearts to accept God’s spiritual government and allowing the foundation of truth to again take root in their hearts. Apostasy also means that
  • the church is without a priesthood. And without a priesthood holiness is reduced to the struggle of the flesh and Christians use the law of Moses for correction.  When holiness is practiced through the law of Moses rather than the law of grace and truth the conscience remains defiled and does not reflect Jesus Christ.

God established government to care for His people. But Christians openly protest the establishment of government. They want to establish themselves as the seat of authority.

Today God is calling the church back to Him. I would like to share an awesome video with you about God’s Trumpet Call to you and to anyone who is willing to hear. The video is only 6 minutes long and in it you will see a phenomena. God manifested a trumpet in the sky as a sign He is calling out to the natioins. Evangelist Connie Van Wyk took a picture of it and you will see this beautiful testimony in the video “Trumpet Call”.

God spoke to me last week and said, “I will sprinkle My blood upon the nations. Prepare ye the way of the Lord.” The church can no longer afford to accept the counsel of ministers like Frangipane. Prepare your hearts for God is doing a new thing, a strange thing and you want to be a part of it.

The 5 Callings

The 5 callings are:
1. APOSTLE
2. PROPHET
3. EVANGELIST
4. PASTOR
5. TEACHER

The Bible teaches about the 5 callings in Ephesians 4:11:“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.”
“He” of course is God. God calls all believers to serve Him in the capacity of one of the 5 callings, but not all will enter into their lot and God will not be able to use them. This is truly unfortunate for as Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few, (Mt.9:37).

You would think that this would not be the case today with a church on every corner and televangelists flooding the air with Bible teaching. The internet has also shown us that anyone who can type or has a video camera can preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
But have you noticed that the world is still in chaos and people have lost hope in God? This is because a false gospel is being preached in place of the covenant gospel of our Lord. Christians of all denominations have said it for a long time: “There is something wrong with the church?”

What is wrong with the church is that those whom God has called into the 5 callings are skipping over their consecration and jumping into the ministry without being properly separated, cleansed, and consecrated to the work of the Lord.
Everyone is claiming a word from the Lord and has forgotten that the word of the Lord is in the mouth of His steward, the one God has appointed over His people to prepare them for service. If you feel you have been called as an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher, now is the time of your consecration.

CONSECRATION

Consecration for ministry: God consecrates before He initiates. The bowing of the will to the grace of God.
• God consecrates before He initiates. Before God initiated the priesthood He consecrated the tribe of Levi by having the steward prepare them for service:
Exodus 29:9, “And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to CONSECRATE him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.”
• Before God initiated and released the apostles to preach the gospel upon the resurrection of our Lord, He consecrated them by having the steward prepare them for service:
John 20:21, “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”
John 17:19, “And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.” Jesus offered Himself as a Lamb without spot and blemish that His apostles would receive their sanctification through Him.

Moses Consecrated the Tribe of Levi:

The whole tribe was separated and cleansed through the tokens God gave to Moses. Each Levite was to go through the steps of preparation for service. First they were separated from the other tribes, then they were given the tokens of their separation and service. Moses then instructed them. And then they were set in their orders in the temple to do service to the Lord.
The symbolism of the bread and the oil in the consecration of the priests:

Leviticus 29:1-2, “And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish, And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with OIL, and wafers unleavened anointed with OIL: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.”

BREAD: The word of God. Jesus is the living bread.
Oil: The Holy Spirit.

The work of the Lord is established through the Levites:
• The temple was maintained
• The sacrifices were offered
• The people were taught

APOSTASY: Using the knowledge for self. The wandering Levites took the tokens of their priesthood and left the temple of God and hired themselves out.

Judges 17:7-13
And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
9 And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.
10 And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
11 And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
12 And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
13 Then said Micah, Now know I that the Lord will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.

The False Religious System has produced many wandering Levites. Christians wander in their priesthood looking to apply it to a place where they can prosper themselves. They take the knowledge of God for themselves. What this means is that they use their own person as a record for faith. We see this happen all the time.

Every pastor, televangelist, and Christian writer preaches and writes about the plight of their conscience, how to maintain a pure conscience. You hear it in the language they use when they preach. They are not preaching Jesus Christ, they are preaching the plight of their conscience., which is the record (condition) of their own soul.

The gospel we hear preached today is the psychology of the struggle of the conscience. The abuses of the soul is the smiting of Satan upon the conscience. This is resolved through your priesthood when you come into covenant with God, where God gives you many gifts of consolation and joy by the true tether of your faith. This is not resolved by applying scripture to the moral code of man.

If you are preaching the moral code of man by the law of Moses you are preaching the shame of Satan, not the gift of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Shame is the absence of light. That is what Satan is, he is absent of God’s light. And being absent of God’s light he focuses on himself. When you preach this gospel of Satan’s shame and focus people on themselves they grow in envy, malice, and bitterness. This state of mind becomes their behavior.

APOSTASY

Those who say they are called apostles or just called to minister to the world in the name of Jesus Christ and do not claim a calling, yet have not been consecrated t the lord are in the condition of apostasy.
Christians also are as Micah, latching onto a wandering minister and going through a few steps to consecrate this minister for their own personal use, looking for the blessing of God in the precept of the Levitical priesthood, but not in the covenant. The priests function in the covenant, not apart from it. The priests function after being consecrated by government. They cannot receive consecration from whoever wants to apply them as their blessing.

GOD ESTABLISHED THE PRIESTHOOD TO BUILD HIS HOUSE: The Levites were consecrated to BUILD THE HOUSE OF THE LORD. Wandering Levites are a priest unto themselves. They are building the house of the one who has employed them. If you do not have a priesthood you cannot build. The purpose of your consecration is to establish Christ in you so you can serve God from that rooting of faith.

The result of removing the priesthood from the temple and the government:
• The virtues of God are removed from the covenant and throne of His mercy into the passions of man.
• Christians become short sighted. They see only the immediate pleasure before them.

GOD ESTABLISHED THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE: When Christians are not established in the faith by the true government of God they are not cared for, but wander looking for their sanctification. God calls stewardship that will not wander from the covenant or priesthood.

Change the Way we Think About Apostles Today

How you think about the Christian faith is going to change more in the next year than in the last 50. Are you ready for God’s paradigm shift? You may already know that the church needs change, but did you know that God is calling apostles today and sending them into the church.

So why does the church need living apostles today?

  1. To restore the church to proper governance

The New Testament church was never governed by pastors, it was governed by apostles. Yet today’s church is clearly not following that divine pattern. A fact that is in conflict with the Bible. The Bible states that Jesus called Apostles, not Pastors to lead the church. You might ask, what difference does it make as long as the word of God is preached.

The difference between Pastoral Governance and Apostolic Governance is the same difference between getting your car serviced by an authorized mechanic or a do-it-yourselfer who lifts up the hood of the car every now and then to poke around.  Meaning that God has not called pastors as mechanics. Pastors are not skilled to understand how the system of God’s government and mystery of Christ work and so they are not in the position to teach about it. When they read the Bible they are more or less just poking around looking at the words “grace” and “faith” and “baptism” and “tongues” and “covenant” but not understanding their function.

Pastors cannot give what they do not possess. And this is why Christians today are ignorant of Christ’s covenant and why the church is in such a mess. Once pastors are instructed by apostles they are then equipped.

Our scripture: “And they continued stedfastly in the Apostles’ DOCTRINE and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42

           2.  To restore apostolic authority.

Did you know that even though God gave men the Bible, people of the same faith cannot agree on its interpretation? What is the Bible anyway? It is the will of God for our redemption through Jesus Christ. The Bible unfolds the plan of God and the covenant God established with man for his salvation.

Who has the authority to interpret the Bible and God’s message to us? Apostolic Governance happens to be the perfect way for God to deliver doctrine to the church.

Have you noticed how much debate centers around proper scripture interpretation? Debate is like gasoline on a fire. As gasoline on a fire just keeps feeding the fire, debate in the church continues to feed confusion. Are you confused over tongues, baptism, tithing, how to get God involved with your life, God’s purpose for you, how to worship God and serve Him perfectly?

These are issues of faith that people turn to the Bible for answers. We need apostles today to interpret the Bible so we know how to walk and to please God.

Our scripture: “But thou hast fully known my (apostle’s) DOCTRINE, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience” ~2 Timothy 3:10

             3.    To restore Apostolic Ministry

How many times have you asked God to show you how to love Him perfectly, to serve Him perfectly, to be all He desires you to be? God has a perfect way to enable you to do this. If you are to serve God with a perfect heart of faith then your faith needs to be joined to the covenant of Jesus Christ. The church needs apostles today to learn how to serve God as He intended.

You may ask why God needs apostles to do that. The answer lies in the Old Testament where we see God calling and equipping men and women to fulfill a specific calling He places upon them. God placed 5 callings into the church as gifts, that the church may reach maturity through these gifts. They are: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher . God gives each calling a measure of grace to function in the position He has assigned that calling. Apostles are given the greatest measure of grace for the purpose of teaching doctrine.

Our scripture: “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” ~Ephesians 4:7

May you walk in the blessings of Christ.

Teacher Maria
